At the risk of revealing my secret identity, I have to tell you I was in the studio with Brisbane troubadour Anna Weatherup on Friday and Oh. My. God.
I don’t know what else to say.
Anna is in the process of recording her second studio EP entitled After The Storm and it sounds like it’s going to be a cracker. Even the studio engineer said to me: “This is going to be one of those classic albums. Every track is a single!”
For an unsigned solo artist, that’s quite a wrap!
Without label backing, Anna has to cough up for the recording process herself, which is not an easy thing to do. To assist financially, she is pre-selling the album – that is, you can buy it now and she will send it to you when it’s done. The incentive is, the first 100 purchases will receive a personalized gift from Anna herself.
